As a very young Christian, Lisa sought out a relationship with the Lord, placed her trust in the hands of leadership, and subsequently was misled spiritually and mentally by negative leadership.  Eventually, the Lord orchestrated a time of restoration. It was there that she found answers, hope, and healing from the brokenness and hurt she had previously encountered. Reflecting on her past, Lisa describes this as a pivotal time in her life, as she then came in contact with the God that whom she had been desperately seeking in times past.

Though experiencing hurt, turmoil, loss of respect for leadership, and false teaching from various ministries and ministers, Lisa learned to seek God and not the approval of others. In the midst of the journey, Lisa learned how to identify right from wrong while learning about integrity, ethics, and good leadership. She began to apply these lessons to her professional life and this is where she was able to begin the process of respecting and trusting leaders once again.

Today, Lisa’s focus is to meet God’s people at the point of their need and to assist them in transitioning from a dark path to experiencing Christ in His marvelous light, and to enjoy their spirituality and freedom in God. This is where “Journey To Purpose” was birthed.  Lisa is currently working on her second book.

Lisa enjoys writing, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She has found a new love for pets. She is very passionate about teaching, and inspiring others to fulfill their God’s given Purpose.
